Inside the Belly of the Cosmic Fish

Inside The Belly of The Cosmic Fish takes the silver plastic film used in food packaging to make a temple for a fish deity. The installation imagines an oceanic mythology to map patterns of international trade and environmental destruction.

 The project used Arduino technology with an ultrasonic sensor which would detect movements in the space, producing an interactive soundscape similar to whalesong.
